Students will develop manual skills in manipulation of soft tissues of the human body through lecture, technique demonstration and student practicum. Basic massage therapy instruction includes Swedish massage, hot stone massage, hydrotherapy and spa techniques, oriental therapies, stretching, joint mobilization and other specialized therapies. This program is approved by the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, and Board of Massage Therapy.
